Each thing we do actuality changes the world. Each movement we make creates a ripple of matter and energy through the universe. It seems that most people don’t see value in the small effect they have on the world but I believe it doesn’t even matter whether the impact is small or large. The only influence I have on the world is through my own actions. Therefore the single best thing I can do is to take the single best possible action available at the time.

Its not a question of weather I should make the better choice, the question is: what ís the better choice? The more knowledge and the better my cognition the better my choice will be. I try always to consider the bigger picture when I make a decision. In the back of my mind there is always a sense of how all this came to be: Stars, planets, first life, mammals, apes, humans, culture, technology. I see myself as a neuron in the network, part of the larger construct. Through my actions the larger construct can thrive, which in turn makes me a fulfilled man.
